Historic sites The ruins of the Kanyaka Station homestead, outhouses and shearers’ quarters are all that remain of the once huge sheep station of about 950 square kilometres. Take a short walk to Death Rock, steeped in Aboriginal history and the former station’s permanent waterhole. The former Kanyaka Station pastoralist’s gravesite (Proby’s Grave) is marked by a huge granite slab, shipped from London. Scenic drives A number of accessible scenic drives will take you over ranges and through gorges – all within an easy distance to Quorn. 4WD tracks and tours Experience the thrill and test your skill on a variety of short and longer 4WD/AWD tracks on private properties that reveal panoramic views of the countryside.
